
Bosra
The basalt Roman City of Bosra has one of
the most well preserved amphitheatres in the
Middle
East.

Near by
there are the ruins of Cardo Maximus the
ancient Roman marketplace.
There are also many cisterns, bridges,
arches, and old architecture of this famous
city.
This was the first city of the
Nabataean Empire
it was the gateway into their kingdom and
was later annexed by the Romans.
