Day 1
Airport or Syrian Borders - Damascus
Upon the arrival from the borders or airport
you will be transferred to
Damascus.

We will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 2
Damascus - Umayyad Mosque - Mausoleum of St.
John the Baptist and Salah ad Din - Azem
Palace - Via Recta - St. Paul Church - St.
Ananias Church - Kassioun Mountain - Tekieh
Souleimaniah and the Handicraft Bazaar –
Hamidieh Bazaar
Upon Arrival in
Damascus
we will take a full city tour.

We will visit the Umayyad Mosque, Azem
Palace, Via Recta, Mausoleum of St. John the
Baptist, and Salah ad Din. Then we will see
some of the old Christian Churches of St.
Paul and St. Ananias.

Then we will see the old quarters of
Damascus
and with a panoramic view of the city from
Kassioun Mountain.
We will also have a little time to look or
shop at the old bazaars Tekieh Souleimaniah,
the Handicraft Bazaar, and Hamidieh Bazaar.
We will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3
Palmyra
Then after breakfast, we will transfer to
Palmyra
in the morning to have a full day tour in
Palmyra.

We will visit the Roman amphitheatre, Temple
of Bel, Temple of Baal Shamin, monumental
arch, great colonnade street, Agora,
Tetrapyle, Necropolis, and the famous Tombs.
We will have dinner and stay overnight in
Palmyra.
Day 4
Palmyra - Krak Des Chevaliers - Hama –
Aleppo
Then after breakfast, we will transfer to Al
Hosn in the morning to spend a full day
visiting the best preserved of all Crusader
Castles in the world built in 1031
Krak Des Chevaliers.

Then we will head to the north of Syria to
visit Hama with its famous wooden norias
wheels that were used for irrigation. We
will see some of the other main attractions
of this old city.
We will transfer to
Aleppo ( Haleb )
for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5
Aleppo – St. Simeon - Aleppo
Then after breakfast, we will travel around
Aleppo
sightseeing one of the oldest cities in the
Middle East.

We will visit the Citidel of Saladin and
Abraham in the old center of town and the
old alleys and souks nearby.
We will also visit the main mosque with the
shrine of Zachariah the father of John the
Baptist.
Then after lunch we will visit the ruins of
one of the oldest churches in Syria known as
Qa'alat Samaan or Saint Simeon.

Then around sunset we will travel back to
Aleppo
for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Aleppo - Apamea (Afamia) - Ma'loula –
Monastery of St. Takla, St. Sergios, &
Bakhos - Damascus
Then after breakfast, we will transfer from
Aleppo
to the ancient Roman ruins of Apamea (
Afamia ).

Then we will travel to visit
Ma'loula
this is an old village built in a very
capricious rocky slope, the only place left
where the inhabitants still speak Aramaic,
the language of Jesus Christ.
We will also visit the monastery of St.
Takla and the Monastery of St. Sergios &
Bakhos.
After a full day we will transfer to have
dinner and stay overnight in
Damascus.
Day 7
Damascus - Bosra – Cardo Maximus – Airport
or Syrian Borders
Then after breakfast, we will visit the
Roman Basalt Amphitheatre and marketplace of
Cardo Maximus in
Bosra.

Then we will either travel to the Syrian -
Jordanian borders for departure or return to
the airport in Syria with a farewell.
