Amman - Al Balad - Jebel Al Qala'a – Madaba

Barid (Little Petra) – Al Beidha – Petra –
Wadi Rum
Day 1
Queen Alia International Airport or Borders
– Amman – Al Balad - Jebel Al Qala'a
Welcome to Jordan!
Upon arrival at any time, you will be met
and assisted by our representatives there in
Amman
airport or the borders.
After that we will be transferred to your
hotel in
Amman
for a city tour then dinner and to stay
overnight.

Day 2
Amman – Madaba - Greek Orthodox Church of
St. George – Mount Nebo – Dead Sea – Karak
Castle
After breakfast in our hotel, we will move
ahead to
Madaba to take a visit to
the Mosaic Christian Church and
Mount Nebo.

There, our cycling tour starts to cycle
downhill to the
Dead Sea to swim for some
time in the salty water under the sea level
with about 240 m.
After that we will move ahead on our
bicycles to Karak; we will visit
Karak Castle and have dinner
and stay overnight in a hotel or a camp.

Meanwhile, we will find the best place for
lunch time.
Day 3
Karak – Dana Nature Reserve
After breakfast, we will be cycling for
sometime in
Karak Castle in a very good
place for such sport and after that we will
go cycling to
Dana Nature Reserve through
Tafila.

In Dana, we will have dinner and stay
overnight in a simple hotel since there is
only budget hotels there.
Meanwhile, we will find the best place for
lunch time.
Day 4
Dana Village – Shobak Castle – Siq Al Barid
(Little Petra) – Al Beidha
After breakfast in our hotel, we will, on
our bicycles, pass by Dana Village and
Shobak Castle until we reach
Siq Al Barid (Little Petra)
and
Al Beidha, which are very
near to the site of
Petra.
We will stay there in a camp after having
dinner with Bedouin Music.
Meanwhile, we will find the best place for
lunch time.

Day 5
Petra
After breakfast, we will, hiking, move to
the site in
Petra, which is very near,
to have a full-day visit to the marvelous
Nabataean city.
We will go on the back way through the
Monastery ( Al Deir ), the second best
carved building after the Treasury.

There are hundreds of elaborate rock-cut
tombs with intricate carvings as well as
obelisks, temples, sacrificial altars,
colonnaded streets, and high above,
overlooking the valley, is the impressive (
l Deir ) Monastery, reached up a flight of
800 stone stairs.
They were an industrious Arab people who
settled here more than 2,000 years ago,
turning it into an important junction for
the silk, spice, and other trade routes that
linked China, India, and southern Arabia
with
Egypt,
Syria, Greece, and Rome.
Petra
fell into obscurity for hundreds of years,
its location and very existence kept a
closely guarded secret by the local Bedouin,
before being re-discovered by the Swiss
explorer Burkhardt in 1812.

We will continue our way visiting (Petra
City Center; Tombs, Court, Roman Theatre,
and Caves) till we reach the Treasury.
Then we go through the Siq up to the city
of Wadi Musa where we will stay overnight in
a hotel after having dinner.
Meanwhile, we will find the best place for
lunch time.
Day 6
Petra – Wadi Rum – Queen Alia International
Airport or Borders
After breakfast, we will move to someplace
near the city of Wadi Musa by bus to act
cycling sport for two hours.
Then, our cycling tour ends up because we
are going to
Wadi Rum where we cannot
ride bikes.

In the great valley of
Wadi Rum, we will take a 4 X
4 Jeep tour into the amazing Jordanian
Desert with its fascinating sand dunes.
We will then transfer to the airport or
borders for departure.
