4 Day Classic Tour

of Syria: Option # 1

Damascus - Umayyad Mosque - Mausoleum of St. John the Baptist and Salah ad Din - Azem Palace - Via Recta - St. Paul Church - St. Ananias Church - Kassioun Mountain - Tekieh Souleimaniah and the Handicraft Bazaar – Hamidieh Bazaar- Palmyra – Krak Des Chevaliers - Al Hosn – Ma'loula - Monastery of St. Takla, St. Sergios, & Bakhos

Day 1

Upon arrival in Damascus we will take a full city tour.

We will visit the Umayyad Mosque, Azem Palace, Via Recta, Mausoleum of St. John the Baptist, and Salah ad Din. We will see some of the old Christian Churches of St. Paul and St. Ananias.

Near the end of the day will see the old quarters of Damascus and then get a panoramic view of the city from Kassioun Mountain.

Then we will have a little time to look or shop at the old bazaars Tekieh Souleimaniah, the Handicraft Bazaar, and Hamidieh Bazaar.

We will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2

Damascus - Palmyra – Krak Des Chevaliers - Al Hosn

Then after breakfast, we will transfer to Palmyra in the morning to have a full day tour in Palmyra.

Then continue to Krak Des Chevaliers. We will have dinner and stay overnight Al Hosn.

Day 3

Al Hosn – Krak Des Chevaliers – Ma'loula - Monastery of St. Takla, St. Sergios, & Bakhos - Damascus

Then after breakfast we will visit Krak Des Chevaliers in the morning to visit the best preserved of all Crusader Castles in the world built 1031.

We will travel to visit Ma'loula this is an old village built in a very capricious rocky slope, the only place left where the inhabitants still speak Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ.

Near the end of the day we can visit the monastery of St. Takla, St. Sergios, and Bakhos.

Then we will travel to the hotel to have some free time till the evening.

We will have dinner and stay overnight in Damascus.

Day 4

Damascus - Departure

Then after breakfast we will transfer you to the airport or to the borders for departure from Syria.
