Day 1

Cairo – Saqqara - Zoser Step Pyramids - Mastaba of Ti – Pyramid of Teti - Abu Sir Pyramids - Great Pyramids of Giza - Sphinx - Airport

Upon arrival in Cairo we will start your full day visiting the Egyptian museum of antiquities.

On display is a rare collection of 5,000 years of art the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world.

Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the King Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920's when his tomb was excavated.

Then we will go to Saqqara to see some more of the ancient valley Step Pyramids for King Zoser, Mastaba of Ti, and Pyramid of Teti on horse back.

We will continue up to Abu Sir close by to see some of the 5th Egyptian Dynasty Pyramids.

Then we will ride all the way to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, & Mycerinus. The Pyramid of Cheops is the most colossal pyramid ever built.

Next is a close up look at the Sphinx a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of King Chephren.

We will enjoy seeing the sites on horse back as well.

In the late afternoon, we will transfer you to the Cairo Airport for departure.
